Seafair Triathlon 2026

The Seafair Triathlon begins at Seward Park on Lake Washington, approximately 10 minutes from downtown Seattle. This summer event offers sprint and super sprint distances, along with relay and children’s races, accommodating serious competitors, novices, teams, and families. Organizers state it is Seattle’s sole triathlon, anticipating over 1,500 participants. The swim takes place in the lake’s warm, calm waters. The cycling portion utilizes closed roads, and the run is contained within Seward Park. Small wave starts aid in managing the beginning of the race, benefiting both new and experienced triathletes. Top-three overall awards are available for elite men and women, while all other participants receive a downloadable finisher certificate.
