Michelle's House Walk. Run. Bike. at College Woods in New Haven's East Rock Park offers three ways to participate in the September fundraiser: the James Barber 5K Run, a Mile Walk, or a Bike Ride. The Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, CT organizes the event with a tiered registration structure: children can register for the walk or run for free, teens receive discounted pricing, adults pay a standard entry fee, and the bike ride is for participants age 19 and older. The 5K route runs alongside the Mill River, circles the base of East Rock, and returns to the finish on a shaded park course.
