Skinny Raven Turkey Trot

The Skinny Raven Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day run and walk held at the Dena'ina Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska. The in-person event provides a 5K and a 2-mile option, with virtual distances available for participants joining from afar. The downtown Anchorage course offers families, walkers, joggers, and runners a holiday start before Thanksgiving dinner, and the shorter distance suits those not aiming for a full race effort. The event incorporates its food theme practically: age-group winners receive fresh pies, and the Food Bank of Alaska is the charity partner. Runners can donate funds during registration, bring non-perishable food to Skinny Raven prior to race day, or forgo the included long-sleeve tech shirt, directing its value to the food bank.
