Squirrel Ridge 4 Miler

The Squirrel Ridge 4 Miler is a morning 4-mile race held at Squirrel Ridge Park in Gainesville, Florida. The race begins at 8 am from the park’s grassy field near SW Williston Road. Florida Track Club members participate for free; non-members pay a small entry fee. The route follows an out-and-back path on SW 17th Terrace and SW 56th Avenue, including a section on Tobacco Road. The course is primarily limerock road with a flat profile, suitable for runners seeking a direct effort. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners and the top three finishers in each ten-year age category.
