The STL Cure Sarcoma 6K Run/Walk is a St. Louis fundraiser featuring a 6K distance. Participants run and walk to support sarcoma cancer research. The event is organized by individuals directly affected by sarcoma, including survivors, patients undergoing treatment, and family members of those lost to the disease.
The event prioritizes community and charitable impact over course speed. Half of the proceeds fund Dr. Brian Van Tine’s research lab at Washington University in St. Louis. The remaining funds support nationwide research through the Sarcoma Foundation of America. The day also serves to honor survivors and current fighters, remember those lost to sarcoma, and provide a meeting place for families impacted by this rare cancer.
