Thanksgiving Gobble Trot Run 5K/10K/13.1 SAN DIEGO

The Thanksgiving Gobble Trot Run in San Diego begins at Mission Point, offering runners and walkers a holiday-morning selection of 5K, 10K, and 13.1-mile distances, along with shorter options around 1.6 km and 21.1 km. This annual Thanksgiving event uses capped waves instead of a single mass start, with morning wave times scheduled for 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30 a.m. This is a relaxed group run suitable for all paces and ages; participants under 18 require a guardian. Timing chips are not provided, allowing runners to self-track using apps like Strava, RunKeeper, or Nike Run, or to seek assistance from coordinators. Final course maps will be emailed shortly before race day, bibs are available on-site, and swag will be mailed to US addresses. This includes a shirt, medal, finisher towel or giveaway, digital training pack, online results, completion certificate, and an invitation to local running clubs. A virtual run option is also available for those unable to attend the San Diego waves.
