The Monster Dash 5K 2026

The Monster Dash 5K, a Halloween-themed 5K and kids' race, takes place in Manito Park on Spokane's South Hill. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. The event is structured so adults can complete the chip-timed 5K before joining their children for the Kids' Fun Run. The kids' races offer 1-mile, half-mile, and quarter-mile distances. Adults may walk or run with children throughout these shorter courses. Candy goodie bags are provided at the finish line. Bib and shirt pickup is located at the Lower Manito Park Picnic Shelter. All proceeds from the race benefit Active4Youth, a local nonprofit providing free elementary running programs within Spokane Public Schools, West Valley School District, and Central Valley School District.
