The Summer Sizzle presented by Utica First Insurance

The Summer Sizzle, presented by Utica First Insurance, is a five-mile road race held in Utica, New York. It takes place near Father's Day, starting from Proctor Park and the Masonic Care Community. This Utica Roadrunners event includes a Half Mile Kids Run before the main race and offers a virtual five-mile option for those who wish to run independently. The race, now in its fourth decade, emphasizes family involvement. Special awards are given in divisions that pair family members and couples, such as Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, Mother/Daughter, and Couples. Participants receive a Summer Sizzle racing singlet. Early registrants also get sunglasses. The race is part of the Utica Roadrunners Four Race Challenge, the UR Grand Prix, and the Club Cup.
