Ugly Sweater 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk - Sweat Bar Fitness 2026

The Ugly Sweater 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk begins at Helicon Brewing in Oakdale, Pennsylvania, located at 102 Union Ave. Participants will gather in December. The primary event is a timed 5K race. The 1-mile walk, which is untimed, commences shortly after the 5K. This setup accommodates both competitive runners and those participating in the holiday atmosphere. The 5K follows a flat, out-and-back course along the Panhandle Trail, offering a straightforward and accessible route for less experienced runners. All participants receive an ugly sweater finisher medal and a wooden ugly sweater ornament. Custom medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, along with age-group awards. The initial 150 registrants for the 5K will also receive ugly Christmas hats.
