Vermilion River Run 10 Miler

The Vermilion River Run 10 Miler begins at Picard Park in Milton, Louisiana, at 8:00 a.m. This 10-mile race is the last event in the Triple Crown Challenge. It is scheduled before many spring marathons and half marathons, making it a suitable long training run for participants. The event also includes a 5-mile option, where participants turn around at 2.5 miles and return to the finish line on the same course. All registered runners will receive a specialty item, such as a jacket. The 10-mile race offers cash prizes to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group awards are given for categories from 12-and-under up to 60-plus, with additional categories for older runners if necessary.
