The Veterans Appreciation Run begins at 8:00 AM on Bank Street in New Port Richey, Florida, offering both 5K and 10K routes. This event welcomes participants of all ages, allowing them to approach it as a typical road race or as a significant physical test.
The distinctive feature is the inclusion of Marine-style assessments alongside the run. Competitors have the opportunity to attempt the same evaluations used by United States Marines, such as the Combat Readiness Test and the Physical Fitness Test, under the supervision of actual Marines.
