WALK, WIGGLE, WAG & 5K RUN FOR THE CAPE CORAL ANIMAL SHELTER - 2027

The Walk, Wiggle, Wag & 5K Run for the Cape Coral Animal Shelter is a March race-day fundraiser in Cape Coral for people, families, and dogs. The timed 5K offers a competitive race option, while the untimed 1-mile fun walk, family package, and virtual 5K accommodate walkers, children, and remote supporters. The in-person event includes a Mutt Strutt around the shelter grounds and a 5K route through the local neighborhood. Participants can form a “pack,” gather sponsors, and collect donations for homeless and neglected animals under the shelter’s care. All registered participants receive an event shirt. Human 5K runners compete for age-group medals, and dog participants vie for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize baskets.
