YMCA Freaky 5K & Mini Monster Dash 2026

The YMCA Freaky 5K & Mini Monster Dash is an annual autumn run held at Pierce Park in Appleton, Wisconsin. It features a chip-timed 5K Run/Walk and a half-mile Mini Monster Dash for children. The kids’ dash begins the morning's events, with the 5K following, allowing families to participate together. The event accommodates all ages and abilities, offering adult, youth, walking, and virtual 5K choices. The 5K course follows the Fox River, establishing the race within Appleton rather than a generic park setting. Costumes are encouraged, and a participant costume contest takes place after the 5K. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome. All finishers get a custom medal and refreshments. The top three overall male and female 5K finishers receive special recognition.
