The Lunacy Obstacle Race is a 10 km trail event held at Chalk Farm in the Lincolnshire Wolds, organized by Yellow Belly Ultras. Participants tackle roughly 1000 feet of elevation across a route that mixes natural countryside with constructed barriers. The entry costs £30, and organizers enforce no cut-off time, allowing runners to complete the muddy course at their own pace. Competitors crawl through mire, climb over punishing barriers, carry weights, and dunk themselves in freezing water. The terrain is unforgiving, designed to push runners to their physical limits through varied movement and load carriage. Everyone who crosses the finish line earns a bespoke medal and a bottle of Yellow Belly Pale Ale.
