Over deze race

The Blueberry Stomp begins at Centennial Park in Plymouth, Indiana, on Labor Day. Runners gather on Michigan Street near the KFC parking lot entrance. This is a nonprofit race connected to the Marshall County Blueberry Festival, benefiting ASK Ministries. The event features a 1-mile Fun Run, a 5K run, a 15K run, and a 15K wheelchair race, accommodating families, short-distance runners, and those seeking a longer challenge. The Fun Run starts first, followed by the 5K and 15K which begin simultaneously after a cannon blast. The 5K follows an out-and-back path through Plymouth's neighborhoods, tracing the festival parade route. The 15K heads out of town onto country roads with rolling hills, offering a contrast to the flatter neighborhood course. Strollers are permitted in the Fun Run, but pets are not allowed on the race course. The broader festival attracts over 200,000 attendees throughout the weekend, positioning the race morning as part of a larger community event rather than an isolated road race. The top four male and female finishers will receive cash prizes, and online registration remains open until the race begins.
