National Chocolate Day Run for Chocolates KANSAS CITY 2026

Chocolate awaits finishers at the National Chocolate Day Run for Chocolates in Kansas City. The event includes 5K, 10K, and half-marathon options. Runners and walkers start in small waves that can fill rapidly. This event is designed for those who enjoy chocolate rather than competitive racing; all paces, ages, and fitness levels are accepted. Participants under 18 require a guardian. The run begins at Mill Creek Park. The course map will be emailed to participants prior to race day. Timing chips are not used; runners may track their own time using an app and submit it for online results, or ask coordinators for assistance. Finishers get a medal, a towel or other giveaway, a completion certificate, a digital training pack, and an invitation to local running clubs. Shirts and additional merchandise are mailed to U.S. addresses, rather than distributed at packet pickup.
