Om dette løpet
The Padenghe Half Marathon is a road race held in Padenghe sul Garda, a town on Lake Garda in the province of Brescia. The primary event is a FIDAL-certified half marathon covering 21.0975 km. Men and women start separately from Via Verdi, with the finish line at the Padenghe town hall. This race is also linked to the Italian Absolute Championship and is the fourth event in the national club series, giving the half marathon a more competitive field than a typical local race.
The weekend also features a FIDAL 9K, available in both competitive and non-competitive versions, and a 5K charity walk the day before the main races. The 9K shares the same finish at the town hall and awards prizes in kind for different categories. Half marathon participants receive an official T-shirt and medal. The 5K benefits IO, TU, AIL, and ABE, and children up to 12 can participate for free. This creates a sense of a town-wide running event along the Garda shore, rather than just a single race.
