Om dette løpet
The Fontana Triathlon begins at Fontana Beach on Geneva Lake in Fontana, Wisconsin, with the first athletes starting near 7:00 AM. This USAT-sanctioned multisport event offers sprint and Olympic distances, along with relay divisions, accommodating both individual participants and teams. The sprint course comprises a 750-meter swim, an 11.8-mile bike leg, and a 3.1-mile run.
The swim takes place in Geneva Lake, adjacent to the Fontana lakefront. Following the swim, the bike course navigates the undulating terrain surrounding Fontana. The run route follows local streets and through parks, concluding by passing back through town. The event welcomes a diverse field, including novice athletes, age-group competitors, relay teams, and experienced racers on the same race morning.
