Run the Runway 2026

Run the Runway is a 5K held at Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport, allowing participants to run and walk on the airport's taxiway and runway instead of a typical road course. The event also features a 1K Fun Run for children aged 3 to 12. The children's race takes place before the 5K, with the main race beginning in the afternoon. The 5K course is flat, fully paved, and accommodates strollers and wheelchairs, making it suitable for families, walkers, and runners of varying paces. The race is professionally chip-timed, does not permit pets on the course, and directs all proceeds to a specific cause.
