Maratona Kids - Corrida Ecológica is a children's street race in Manaus, Amazonas, starting at Shopping Ponta Negra. It is designed for children aged 1 to 14, featuring short distances of 50, 100, 150, 200, and 300 metres, ensuring the youngest participants do not face an adult-style race. Ticket Sports - Maratona Kids organizes the event, with entries limited to 500 participants. The course is straightforward: children complete short routes suited to their age, and adults may join them if necessary. The goal is to encourage children to be active in a secure, fun environment, complemented by recreational activities, a gourmet food area, and prize drawings surrounding the races. Every participant gets a kit including a T-shirt and a participation medal. Families are requested to bring 1kg of food when picking up the kit.
