Maratona do Litoral, held in Matinhos, Brazil, features minimal elevation gain, making it ideal for flat running. The race weekend takes place in July, offering a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, a children's race, and a walking event. The 5K and walk are scheduled for Saturday evening, the 10K later that night, and the marathon and half marathon begin early Sunday morning. The course begins at Praça Dante Luiz Júnior and follows the coastline for nearly its entire length, leading organizers to describe it as Brazil's flattest marathon. This course is well-suited for runners aiming for a personal best or attempting their first marathon. The Desafio do Guará allows participants to combine a Saturday race with either the half marathon or marathon on Sunday, creating a two-day challenge.
