Zlín's running calendar revolves around the Strojařská desítka and Olympijský běh — both flat, fast 10K and 5K courses through the town and surrounding industrial heritage areas at 240m elevation. Cyclists use Zlín as a launch point for the hilly Moravian Highlands to the north and east; the Zlínská 50 gravel route tracks 45km through rural terrain and forest roads toward the Carpathian foothills. The Dřevnice River valley offers gentle towpath cycling, while serious climbs into beech and spruce forest start within 20km.
