The Hohenlimburger Lennelauf is a road race held in Hagen-Hohenlimburg, starting and finishing at the Richard-Römer-Lennebad on Im Klosterkamp. The primary races feature a flat 1,800 m loop, offering 5,400 m and 10,800 m distances, alongside a 1,240 m student race and a 5,400 m walk or Nordic walk.
The route largely follows asphalt paths along the Lenne riverbanks, making it uncomplicated and with minimal technical challenge; spikes are prohibited. Student races take place in Lennepark and the vicinity of the Richard-Römer-Lennebad. Elseyer Turnverein, the organizer, draws on its experience from 30 previous public running events. The walking option is timed but without a winner classification. The event utilizes disposable timing transponders, has limited starting spots for non-student races, and provides on-site food and beverages.
