O wyścigu
ATV Triathlon is a long-running triathlon in Hückeswagen, a town in Germany’s Bergisches Land region. It is organized by ATV Hückeswagen v. 1850, a traditional local club, and it attracts triathletes seeking a club-organized race with a serious competition background over a big-city event.
The race has decades of history, including appearances by notable athletes such as Marc Allen, the six-time Ironman Hawaii winner. It has also hosted German Championships, West German Championships, Oberliga and Landesliga races, and many state-level events. For over twenty years, the organizers have collaborated with the North Rhine-Westphalian Triathlon Association and the German Triathlon Union, contributing to the event's blend of a welcoming atmosphere and formal organization.
