O wyścigu
Audi Triathlon Ingolstadt, powered by BÜCHL, takes place in early summer in Ingolstadt, Upper Bavaria. The swim begins in the Baggersee recreation lake, near the beach volleyball courts, and the finish is in Klenzepark, located in the city center. The event features Sprint, Olympic, and Middle distances. The Sprint consists of a 0.75 km swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run. The Olympic distance includes a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run. For the Middle distance, participants will swim 1.9 km, bike 86 km, and run 20 km. Relay teams can also compete, allowing participants to divide the disciplines among team members.
The course transitions from the lake swim to a city finish. The Middle-distance relay also involves swimming in the Baggersee and follows a bike route with the organizers as fast and flat. Competitors must manage their bike nutrition independently, as the cycling course lacks aid stations, requiring self-sufficiency. Drafting is prohibited during the cycling leg. The run course offers more support, with one aid station on the Sprint route and three on the Olympic route. BÜCHL, a long-standing sponsor and partner, also enters a team composed of employees from various departments.
