Memmert Rothsee Triathlon 2026

The Memmert Rothsee Triathlon takes place annually in mid-June in Hilpoltstein, Bavaria, organized by TSG 08 Roth Service GmbH. It is structured as a full race weekend, not a single start, accommodating children, teenagers, juniors, age-group athletes, first-timers, and league racers with individual starts. The shortest race is for ages 6 and 7, featuring a 50 m swim, 1 km bike ride, and 200 m run. Sprint-format races consist of a 750 m swim, 20.6 km bike leg, and 5 km run. The event is situated in a town near Rothsee, offering short and middle-distance triathlon options. The youth progression is notably detailed: age groups advance from very short distances for beginners, including 400 m swims, 10 km bike legs, and 2.5 km runs, before juniors transition to the sprint course. The 750 m swim, 20.6 km bike, and 5 km run format is also used for Jedermann and age-group competitors. Additionally, one race is part of the DTU 2. Triathlon Bundesliga, blending local participation with organized German league competition.
