Ostalb Giro Gran Fondo 2026

The Ostalb Giro Radmarathon begins and ends in Aalen, offering participants five route choices throughout the Ostalb district. This event caters to families, club cyclists, and endurance riders, with distances from the 34 km Leintal Family route to the 235-240 km Gran Fondo. Staggered starts based on average speed are used to ensure the safe progression of a large number of participants from the outset. The routes depart Aalen, leading towards various district locations such as Ellwangen, Lauchheim, and Neresheim. Shorter options include the 60 km Kochertal Lite, while longer distances feature the 105 km Ostalb Classic and the 160 km Limes Tour. Over 1,500 cyclists have entered, and the event provides marked courses, support stations, timing, a start number, a certificate, and a finisher medal. An after-event gathering is also available, contributing to a club-like atmosphere for the day.
