O wyścigu
Taubertal 100 begins in Rothenburg, Germany, sending ultrarunners down the Tauber Valley on point-to-point routes. The series takes place in October, offering four main distances: 50 km, 70 km, 100 km, and 100 miles. It also includes the Biel-Taubertal Challenge, for runners seeking two 100 km races combined. Each distance holds IAU Bronze status, with routes approved and measured by DLV Germany.
The finish town varies by distance: 50 km concludes in Bad Mergentheim, 70 km in Tauberbischofsheim, 100 km in Wertheim, and 100 miles in Gemünden. The 100-mile course is certified for world-record performances, and the 100 km race contributes to the DUV-Cup. Records demonstrate the course's speed potential: Nele Alder-Baerens holds the women's records for all listed distances, and men's records range from Niels Bubel's 3:07 for 50 km to Felix Weber's 12:35 for 100 miles.
