Cronoescalada Jabalcón is a timed uphill race in Zújar, located in the northern part of Granada province. The format is straightforward: participants race the climb against the clock, with results determined by climbing strength, pacing, and sustained effort to the summit.
The start and finish are both within the municipality of Zújar, utilizing the natural terrain around Jabalcón for the challenge. Organized by the Zújar town council, the race costs 10 euros to enter. Now in its 28th edition, it is considered a much-anticipated local event.
