Cross del Aljarafe is a 15.6-15.8 km running race held in Gines, a town in the Sevilla province of Spain. It begins at 10:30 AM from the vicinity of Calle Juan de Dios Soto and concludes back in Gines. This offers local runners a mid-distance event, longer than a 10K but shorter than a half marathon.
The course connects several Aljarafe towns and features a sprint point in Espartinas, distinguishing it from a basic out-and-back route. Over 280 participants have registered, with runners coming from Gines, neighboring towns, and distant provinces including Cordoba, Huelva, Cadiz, and Badajoz. The race is put on by Ayuntamiento de Gines and Club Nuevas Promesas de Gines, and is part of the Sevilla running schedule.
