Cursa de la Llagosta 2026

The Cursa de la Llagosta begins on Carrer de la Estació, next to the local police station and approximately 100 meters from the RENFE stop. It takes place each September in La Llagosta, located in the Vallès Oriental region near Barcelona, offering 5 km and 10 km distances for adults, along with children’s races ranging from 300 to 800 meters. The race is part of the town’s Fiesta Mayor, giving it the atmosphere of a local festival event rather than a distinct road race. Hundreds of participants compete, including those aiming for a fast 10 km on a certified course and families participating in the children’s races, where all young finishers receive a medal. La Sansi has directed the event since 2022, and the race has a significant local tradition, having been held for over thirty-five editions.
