La Foulée Chesnaycourtoise is a nature-running event in Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt, west of Paris, held on an October Sunday around the Arboretum de Versailles-Chèvreloup. The main event is a 10 km popular run, complemented by a 3 km open race, a 1 km children’s race, a non-timed 10 km hike, and a 10 km Nordic walking event.
The 10 km route begins on Rue des Sports and proceeds through the arboretum, passing the Allée des Cèdres, the Heron Pond, and sections featuring European, Asian, horticultural, and American species. Approximately 1,300 runners are anticipated, with recent entries filling every race. The event contributes 1 euro per participant to the Versailles Hospital endowment fund for pediatric emergencies at Mignot Hospital. It also implements a zero-waste policy, utilizing reusable cups, bulk food distribution at the finish, bib recovery, recycling, and organic-waste collection.
