The Corrida Pédestre d'Auch is an end-of-year urban road race held in Auch, located in the Gers department of southwest France. The primary event covers 8.4 km along the Gers river and through a section of the lower town center. Organized by Athlétic Club Auscitain, the race has been held annually since 1987. It caters to runners seeking a fast time and those looking for a festive run before New Year’s Eve.
The course is flat and fast, featuring a technical reputation due to sharp right-angle turns requiring precise handling. Longer straightaways allow participants to regain speed. The adult race typically attracts around 1,000 participants, with additional youth races of 2 km and 1.4 km. Costumes are encouraged, aligning with the race’s festive atmosphere, and Auch embraces its d’Artagnan identity for the event.
