O wyścigu
The Grand Mulhouse Trail Urbain is an urban trail race held in Mulhouse, Haut-Rhin, France, in early October. It begins at Stade de l'Ill and concludes on Place de la Réunion. The solo race covers approximately 15 km with 230 m of elevation gain, though some editions have featured routes around 12.6 km or between 15 and 16 km. Participants can also compete as duos. The event limits solo runners to 1,000 and teams to 100.
The course incorporates Mulhouse's urban landscape, featuring city streets, countryside trails, stairways, and short technical segments with genuine city topography. The finish includes a notable final challenge: runners ascend and descend the steps of the Hôtel de Ville before arriving at Place de la Réunion. This event, established in 2014, attracts runners of various skill levels. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers and category winners. One euro from each registration fee is donated to Bouchons et compagnie.
