L’Ultra Raid de La Meije 2026

L’Ultra Raid de La Meije is a high-mountain mountain bike raid based in La Grave, in the Hautes-Alpes, run in September. Its main race is the Elite Ultra 113, a demanding VTT course over 110 km with approximately 5,000 m of elevation gain, designed for experienced riders. The event also features timed races, e-bike raids, and non-ranked rides. The route crosses Alpine terrain near La Meije, including sections by the Lautaret and Galibier cols, the Cerces massif, the Emparis plateau, and Lac du Pontet. Since 2011, it has attracted mountain bike purists and extreme-raid riders seeking long climbs, technical distance, and small groups. The atmosphere is friendly, and the non-timed hikes allow less competitive participants to enjoy the mountain setting.
