O wyścigu
La Trégo'rose begins on the quays of Tréguier in Côtes-d'Armor, with untimed running and walking on an October Sunday. It raises funds for medical research against cancer, especially breast cancer. The format is open: men and mixed runners start first, a heritage walk follows, and the women’s race has its own later start. Entry is low-cost, children under 12 participate for free, and the event limits participants to 999.
The running course is a 5 km loop that can be completed once or twice, offering 5 km or 10 km race options. Walkers follow a roughly 9 km route, while the heritage walk provides a slower pace to explore the area around Tréguier. Recent events have attracted about 900 people, including hundreds of walkers, runners, and a smaller group focused on local heritage. Around a hundred volunteers assist with traffic, race openings, crêpes, music, a tombola, registrations, and merchandise at the Wednesday morning market preceding race day.
