Osaka Castle Triathlon

Osaka Castle East Outer Moat distinguishes this from a standard urban triathlon. The Osaka Castle Triathlon is held within Osaka Castle Park and holds significant federation status, hosting the 2026 NTT Triathlon Age Group National Championship Series, the Osaka Prefectural Triathlon Sports Festival, and the 35th Osaka Prefectural Triathlon Championship, all sharing the same competitive start list. The competition is divided into Elite Sprint Distance, Age Group Standard Distance, Age Group Sprint Distance, and Relay Team Sprint Distance. Participants race against others with similar preparation levels. Expect strict cut-off times, where swim performance, bike execution, and the run segment are critical, as errors become apparent. Elite athletes, age-group competitors, and relay teams participate, lending the event a more serious atmosphere than a casual community race.
