2026 Jackass Half Marathon & 5K

The Jackass Half Marathon & 5K is an annual Silver Valley Chamber race in northern Idaho. Both distances are run point-to-point on the paved Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, starting in historic Wallace and finishing in Uptown Kellogg. The mostly downhill profile makes it approachable for newer runners while still offering a course where faster racers can push their pace. The route follows the Coeur d'Alene River and runs through the foothills of the Silver Valley, presenting a mountain-valley trail setting rather than a city road race. The event began in 2020 and was voted Best Half Marathon in Idaho, indicating a strong local reputation that may exceed its small-town footprint.
