The Aurora Indiana Pre-Turkey 5K is an evening 5K run or walk in Aurora, Indiana, starting from Gabbard Park on Judiciary Street. It is held on the eve of Thanksgiving Day, with a 5:30 PM start, and includes both a general run/walk and a separate competitive walkers event.
The race is hosted by the Catholic Parishes in Dearborn County and is built around helping local families before the holiday. Money raised supports three area food pantries: St. Vincent De Paul, Clearing House, and Dillsboro Food Pantries.
