Beyond Limits Adventure 5k & Fun Run

The Beyond Limits Adventure 5k & Fun Run is an urban adventure race held at Independence Landing. It features a 5K course with obstacles rather than a standard road race. Participants will encounter at least five challenges, which may include activities such as throwing a plastic axe or performing an army crawl, among other tests of coordination and dexterity. The 5K course is physically demanding, though participants can request accessibility accommodations when they register. Entrants can compete in the 5K individually or as a two-person team, with distinct age-group awards for both categories. Costumes are encouraged. Finishers will receive medals upon completion of all challenges, and refreshments will be available post-race at Independence Landing. A shorter Fun Run/Walk/Roll, under a mile, circles the Independence Landing complex. This shorter event is designed for all ages and abilities, and the race benefits Independence Landing.
