Brat Trot 5k

The Brat Trot 5k, hosted by Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, begins at 645 Poplar Street in Terre Haute, Indiana. It features a standard 5K and a 1-mile fun run in the morning, with a separate Beer Challenge 5K scheduled for later. All three race options are offered at the same price. The Beer Challenge, the most distinctive option, takes place in Terre Haute's historic brewing district. Participants run a 1-mile loop three times, consuming a 4-ounce beer shot at the end of each lap. A volunteer marks their bib before they proceed to the next lap, completing 12 ounces of beer in total. This challenge is for individuals 21 and older, with beer supplied by Afterburner Brewing Company. This marks the event's eighth year, and parking is available at the nearby Vigo County Library lot.
