Catalina Island Marathon, 10K, 5K 2027

The Catalina Island Marathon is a 26.2-mile trail race on Catalina Island, located off the coast of Los Angeles. This event holds California's State Off-Road Marathon Championship title and is the state's oldest trail marathon, boasting a long annual history. The event lineup also offers runners shorter distances: a 10K, a 5K, and a Kids Run for participants aged 3 to 13. The marathon course allows runners to traverse the Catalina Island Conservancy on foot, utilizing the island's natural terrain as the primary course rather than urban streets. The participants range from dedicated off-road marathoners competing for the state championship to individuals opting for the 10K or 5K for a shorter island race.
