Celebration 5K / 10K

The Celebration 5K / 10K starts and finishes at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, across from Bahia Mar Marina on A1A. Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K, both organized as a non-scored fun run or walk with a finish clock instead of formal results. This event commemorates the club's 53rd anniversary. Entry includes the race, a finisher medal, a club T-shirt, a signature bib, a food bag, water, and Gatorade. The course follows a straightforward out-and-back route on the sidewalk, located just steps from the ocean. This setup ensures the route is easy to navigate and remains close to the beach throughout. It is designed for casual runners, walkers, club members, and individuals seeking a relaxed morning rather than a competitive event. Following the run, attendees will have a breakfast gathering, contributing to the event's atmosphere as a club birthday party rather than a typical road race.
