O wyścigu
The Cheese and Sauerkraut 10 Miler is a 10-mile prediction run starting at the McBaine Katy Trailhead in Columbia, Missouri, located at Katy Trail Mile Marker 169.5. The run begins in the morning, with an event window from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. All participants must register online prior to race day.
The unique aspect of this race is the absence of a timing system. Before starting, each runner predicts their own finish time. The individual whose finish time is closest to their prediction receives cheese, while the runner whose time is furthest from their prediction wins sauerkraut. This event is associated with the Columbia Track Club, offering free entry to CTC members who register online. Non-members have the option to purchase a club membership during the registration process.
