Dash for Diapers 2026

The Diaper Dash is a short race for children age two and under, held on Saturday morning of race weekend in Buffalo. The course is 26.2 feet long, making the "marathon" joke inherent in the distance. The event is a crawl or walk, not a run. Entry costs $10, with proceeds benefiting Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. The organizers lay down carpeting to protect crawlers’ hands and knees. The event moves indoors to the Convention Center if it rains. Each child requires two adults to be present. Participants can start and finish in the arms of a loved one. Finishers receive a custom race bib, a keepsake Buffalo medal, and a snack and drink.
