Elf 'N' Cocoa 8K/5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Elf 'N' Cocoa is a holiday race offering 8K, 5K, and 1 Mile distances, run to support the HEADstrong Foundation. The 8K and 5K are chip-timed with live-streamed results. The 1 Mile Fun Run is for children 12 and under and begins before the longer races. This is the event's seventh year, giving it an established feel while maintaining a local, family-race atmosphere. The course features paved sections and waterfront paths with views of Philadelphia. The 8K and 5K award medals to the top three overall finishers and the top three in each age group. All finishers in these distances receive an upgraded race tee, with a long-sleeve option available for an additional fee. Children in the 1 Mile receive a finisher medal and an Elf n Cocoa shirt. All participants get hot cocoa at the finish from Death of the Fox Coffee House, a fitting touch for the race's theme.
