Evansville Zombie 5K Run/Walk

The Evansville Zombie 5K Run/Walk is a themed 5K survival run at Wesselman Park. Participants navigate a zombie outbreak scenario. The race begins in the afternoon, and volunteers can participate as zombies before the runners start. The route takes participants from Wesselman Park or Wesselman Woods to the Red Cross and back. The objective is for runners to reach the Red Cross outpost, obtain a code, and return, all while zombies attempt to tag their shirts or backs with fake blood. Martial Hearts organizes the event, with proceeds benefiting Wesselman Woods and Martial Hearts. Kim’s Chuck Wagon provides food at the finish.
