Ghost and Goblin 5K

The Ghost 'n Goblin 5K is a Halloween-themed 5K road race in the Dayton area, taking place at Sinclair's campus on Clyo Road in Centerville. The Ohio River Road Runners Club organizes this event, attracting approximately 1,200 local runners and walkers. Families, casual participants, and club runners participate together on the same fall race night. The event incorporates Halloween themes without overcomplicating the run. Features include a costume contest, pizza post-finish, and raffles as part of the post-race activities. The race also supports local running by donating $500 annually to four high school cross country teams. The all-volunteer club also funds scholarships for local runners and grants for youth running clubs in the Dayton area.
