Grassroots Gravel

Grassroots Gravel is a family-owned gravel cycling race and festival in Pueblo, Colorado, holding its main race weekend every October and Farmstand 50 in May. The October event spans two days, combining riding and racing with food, music, a cycling industry and art expo, a concert, and a community ride. Farmstand 50 is a single-distance gravel race through the agricultural areas of Pueblo County, providing the series with a second, more focused spring event. The routes utilize well-maintained roads around Pueblo County and offer distance options at the main Grassroots Gravel event, allowing riders to select a day that suits their pace. The participants include competitive racers, casual riders, and first-timers, with supported courses and professional timing. Off the bike, the organizers offer free skills clinics, a Ride Together Grant for participation and equipment access, and a year-round flat-fixing learning and competition series known as the International Bicycle Flat Tire World Series.
