The Holiday Half is a December race weekend held at Marine Stadium in Long Beach, California. The primary event is a half marathon, complemented by shorter races: a Glow 5K, a Christmas Light 5K, and the Penguin Waddle for children.
The series embraces the holiday theme. Participants completing multiple events can receive Golden Snowflake Medals via the Golden Snowflake Challenge. The Penguin March Club offers an additional themed element for the weekend. This marks the race's 17th year, and its relocation to Long Beach provides a waterfront setting at Marine Stadium.
